Amreli News: The number of lions and leopards in Amreli district is increasing day by day. It has now become routine for lions and leopards to enter rural areas and hunt in the forest landscape. A lion killed a 7-year-old girl yesterday in Khalsa Kantharia village of Jaffrabad taluka. So there was panic among the villagers. On the other hand, the Forest Department started the operation to lock the lioness in a cage since night. After running a mega operation throughout the night, the forest department has succeeded in providing a cage to the lioness early in the morning.
According to the information received about the lioness attack, a lioness took away a seven-year-old girl from the Wadi area of Khalsa Kantharia village of Jaffrabad taluk of Amreli district. After the family members informed the Forest Department, MLA Heera Solanki, Taluka Panchayat Executive President Anirudh Vala also reached the spot along with the Forest Department team.
The forest department team along with the MLA and the entire village searched for the girl. In which some body parts of the girl were found. However, many body parts of the girl were not found. The forest department searched for body parts of the girl and the lioness.
