66,000 rupees worth of gifts, round trip air tickets… never seen an Arab wedding like this before

Have you seen the Hollywood movie 'Crazy Rich Asians', if you have, then you will remember how a rich Asian family spends a lot of money on the lavish wedding of their son. We think this has nothing to do with reality, but now such a wedding video is going viral on social media, after seeing which you will be wondering if this is a movie. A video of the wedding was shared by travel influencer Dana Chang, in which all the guests are being paid by the family.

The influencer shared the video and wrote, 'This is what a crazy rich Asian wedding looks like in real life.' He said that the wedding couple gave all the guests an unforgettable experience. The couple took the guests to China at their own expense and arranged for a 5-star hotel to stay there. A fleet of Rolls Royce cars and Bentley cars were deployed to welcome the guests and take them to the hotel. It looked like a European wedding.

The influencer further explained in the video that the phone booths were decorated with flowers, while newspapers were adorned with pictures of the bride and groom. There is a tradition in Chinese weddings where guests gift the newlyweds a red bag full of money and wish them a happy married life, but here it was the opposite. The newlywed couple reversed the ceremony and gave these envelopes to the guests and took nothing in return.

The influencer captioned the video, “Apart from the wedding gifts, the couple gave each guest $800 (approximately ₹66,000) in a red pocket. I am still amazed by the red pocket ritual. The guests were also given a paid return flight.”

As soon as this video was uploaded on the social media site Instagram, the uproar started. More than 45 lakh 8 thousand people have seen it while about 45 lakh people have liked it. Many users have commented on this post. One user wrote, 'Oh God, what level of billionaire is this?' Another wrote, 'He is very polite in giving gifts to the guests… This shows how much importance he gives to the people present, who came to attend his wedding ceremony.'
