On the 647th Prakash Utsav of Guru Ravidas, the Chief Minister vowed to work tirelessly to address the problems of the weaker and deprived sections of the society and said the Aam Aadmi Party government was ruling as per the teachings of Guru Ravidas.
The Chief Minister claimed that the State Government has got the responsibility of ensuring the well-being of the poorest of the poor and several important initiatives are being taken for this.
The Chief Minister said that Guru Ravidas has given the message of welfare of entire humanity and equality of all sections of the society. To help the weaker sections of the society, the state government has started Baba Saheb B.R. Ambedkar's ideology is empowering by providing quality education.
The Chief Minister further said that the School of Eminence of the Punjab Government aims to fulfill the dream of Baba Saheb by providing a prosperous future to the economically weaker students.
Referring to the employment opportunities for the youth in the state, CM Mann said that with the blessings of Guru Ravidas, a new, dynamic and progressive Punjab will soon emerge under the leadership of the state government.
More than 40 thousand jobs have been provided to the youth in the state. The Chief Minister said that the state government is making concrete efforts for women empowerment.
