In the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections, about 60 percent voting took place in a total of 58 seats in six states and two union territories. In which the highest voting of 78.19 percent took place in West Bengal. Meanwhile, some incidents of violence and EVM malfunction also came to light in the state. According to the data declared by the Election Commission at 7.45 pm, 62.74 percent voting took place in Jharkhand, 54.03 percent in Uttar Pradesh, 60 percent in Odisha, 54.48 percent in Delhi, 52.28 percent in Jammu and Kashmir.
In this phase, voting took place in all seven seats of Delhi, 14 in Uttar Pradesh, 10 in Haryana, eight each in Bihar and Bengal, six in Odisha, four in Jharkhand and one in Jammu and Kashmir. The Election Commission said that Anantnag-Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir recorded the highest polling of 52.28. With this sixth phase, voting has been completed in 486 out of 543 Lok Sabha seats. Also, Lok Sabha elections have been completed in 28 states. Now voting will be held on 57 seats in the seventh and final phase on June 1 and the results will be declared on June 4. Even amidst the scorching heat and temperature, the voters performed their duty by casting their votes. The Election Commission had deployed about 11.4 lakh election staff at about 1.14 lakh polling stations.

When people raised slogans against BJP candidate and former High Court judge Abhijit Gangopadhyay in Tamluk seat in Bengal. Gangopadhyay had made objectionable remarks about Mamata. The Election Commission said that in Bengal we received about 954 complaints of EVM malfunction, agents being prevented from entering the booth. The Election Commission claimed that the election was conducted peacefully. Meanwhile, BJP candidate Soumyendu Adhikari claimed that TMC and paramilitary forces are working against us. They are killing BJP workers. BJP workers also staged a sit-in against the paramilitary forces. BJP candidate from Jhargam Pratap Tudu claimed that my convoy was attacked. He blamed TMC workers for the attack.
