Russian officials said in a statement that six people were killed and more than 100 injured in Ukrainian drone and missile attacks. Meanwhile, one person was killed in Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine in Russian air strikes.
Five people, including two children, have been killed in Russian-controlled Crimea. The city's governor Mikhail Razvozzhayev said in a statement that Russian forces shot down five Ukrainian missiles, but five people died when debris fell to the ground as the missiles fell.
Razvozzhayev has cancelled all public events scheduled in the city tomorrow. One person was killed and three others injured when three Ukrainian drones struck Russia's Belgorod region bordering Ukraine, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
The Russian Air Force has shot down a total of 33 Ukrainian drones in the West Bryansk, Smolensk, Lipetsk and Tula regions in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
According to local authorities, one person was killed and 10 others were injured in the latest attack in Kharkiv. Mayor Ihor Terekhov said 50 percent of the city was blacked out due to aerial bombardment.
