Surat: An incident of gang rape of a minor took place near Biga Borsara of Mangrol, Surat. In which the police arrested the third accused who had fled after committing the crime from Ahmedabad yesterday, who has been produced in the court today and has been given remand for 6 days.
According to details received in this regard, on October 8 last, 17-year-old Sagira was standing with her friend on the outskirts of Bade Borsara village of Mangrol. Where three people who came riding on a bike threatened the minor and raped her at that very moment.
In connection with this incident of gang rape, the police formed different teams to arrest the accused. During this, the police caught two of the three accused, Munna alias Khalnayak Karbali Paswan (40) and Shivshankar alias Dayashankar Laxman Chaurasia (45) within a few hours. Police investigation has revealed that both the arrested accused are habitual criminals.
Out of which accused Shivshankar alias Dayashankar Laxman Chaurasia had difficulty in breathing and was taken to the hospital for treatment where he died during treatment. While the second accused Munna alias villain Karbali Paswan was presented in the court. Where his remand till October 17 has been approved.
The police have started investigation to catch the third accused who is absconding in this incident. Meanwhile, the third accused was also caught yesterday. The accused Ramsjeevan alias Raju Ramsamad Vishwakarma (31) was caught from Ahmedabad railway station. The accused also has a criminal history and a total of 9 previous offenses registered against him under various sections in Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Ankleshwar, Karajan and Kadodara police stations in which he was wanted in connection with theft in Visakhapatnam and Ankleshwar. Today the police presented the accused in the court from where his remand till October 17 was approved.
After committing the crime, the three accused ran away and gathered near Pipodara overbridge in the early morning. Wherein order not to be caught by the accused, all three accused had switched off their mobile phones and around noon they switched on their mobile phones and planned to contact each other and all three accused separated.
Apart from this, these three accused had committed the crime and were continuously keeping an eye on the activities in the surrounding area. Also, accused Ramsjeevan alias Raju came to know about the arrest of the first two accused. So that day he remained hidden in the forest near Tadkeshwar the whole night and later in the morning he took a rickshaw on the road and went to Ankleshwar and there also Bharuch district police was searching for him, he hid in the bushy area. Ankleshwar was there from morning till evening
Took a rickshaw from Ankleshwar to Bharuch railway station around evening, from where we got down at Vadodara railway station. He had breakfast in a lorry near Vadodara railway station and stood on the platform waiting for a train to arrive and searching the train timings on his mobile.
Meanwhile, Dadar Ajmer train was coming at Vadodara railway station, he hid in its general coach and ran away towards Rajasthan. During this time he was caught from Ahmedabad railway station.
