Bijapur, July 31 (HS). Under the chairmanship of District Collector Anurag Pandey and in the presence of SP Dr. Jitendra Yadav, counseling of Naxal-affected family members who have been found eligible for compassionate appointment in government service was held on Wednesday in the Indravati Sabhakaksha of the District Office. The collector said that in the first phase, preparations are being made to give appointment letters to 58 applicants before August 15 and the remaining applicants will be given compassionate appointment under the rehabilitation policy of Chhattisgarh Government as soon as possible by holding a meeting of Naxal rehabilitation in the second phase. Compassionate appointment is being given since the year 2015. The dream of appointment in government service of Naxal-affected families is now going to come true.
During counselling, general information including native place, educational qualification, family background of the applicants was taken. The collector greeted all the applicants and wished them in advance for successfully discharging their duties in government service and while paying homage to their departed family members, said that the government and administration is always with you. Condemning the brutal killing of innocent tribals and villagers by Naxalites, he said that the Chhattisgarh government and its policy are prepared to deal with such anti-national elements and the end of Naxalites is certain in the near future. The collector met the family members and on their request also got a group photography done in the Collectorate premises.
During this, SP Dr. Jitendra Yadav also met all the applicants and motivated them to avail the benefits under the government's rehabilitation policy. The monthly magazine Janman related to the government schemes published by the Chhattisgarh Government Public Relations Department was also presented to the family members of the Naxal-affected families. During this, SDM Jageshwar Kaushal, DSP Tulsi Ram Lekam, Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development Dr. Anand Singh, District Treasury Officer Mahavir Prasad Tandon along with officers and employees of the district and police administration were present.
