Araria, 15 November (Hindustan Reporter). The 555th birth anniversary of the first Guru of Sikhs, Sri Guru Nanak Devji, was celebrated with great faith and reverence at Forbesganj Gurudwara in the form of Prakash Parv. In view of Prakash Parv, on Friday, first of all, Nishan Saheb, installed above the Gurudwara, was bathed with milk and water and changed his clothes. After this, Shabd Kirtan and Akhand Path were organised, after which Giani Pradeep Singh Bedi performed Ardaas. After this, Guru’s unbroken langar was served in which hundreds of devotees sat together in a queue without any discrimination and took the langar prasad. The Gurudwara was decorated in an attractive manner on the occasion of Prakash Parv. Where devotees arrived in large numbers and paid obeisance. On the Prakashotsav, along with the followers of Sikh religion, people of other religions also bowed their heads in front of Guruji in the Gurudwara.

On the 555th Prakash Parv, the Gurudwara located on Ram Manohar Lohia Path was decorated with colorful lights. At the same time, attractive flower decorations were also spreading. Organization of religious programs started in the court of Shri Gurunanak Devji from early morning. Where the ragi group of Bhai Gurdeep Singh, who came from Asansol, West Bengal, captivated everyone by enthralling the sangat with Gurbani. Earlier, after the end of Shri Akhand Path Sahib, the organization of Kirtan Darbar started. On the occasion of Prakash Parv, men, women and children of the Sikh community participated enthusiastically. Where the atmosphere remained devotional with the echo of Dhan Guru Nanak.

On this occasion, Gurudwara Granthi Pradeep Singh Bedi, Committee President Preetpal Singh, Vice President Sardar Tejendra Singh, besides Amandeep Singh, Amritpal Singh, Rajveer Singh, Sinki Singh etc. were present.
