MP IT Department Seized Gold And Cash: A huge amount of unnamed cash and gold was recovered late last night during two-day income tax raids in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. This benami cash and gold is related to the ongoing raid at the house of former RTO constable Saurabh Sharma. His colleague Chandan Singh Gaur is under suspicion.
Lokayukta’s special police establishment on Thursday raided the house of Sharma and Gaur and recovered the money. Rs 2.5 crore in cash, gold and silver jewelery and property documents were seized.
