Jammu, 9 December (Hindustan Reporter). Kalki Andolan, the ongoing movement demanding national status for Mother Cow and formation of Sanatan Board, has completed 50 days. The objective of this historic movement is to ensure the safety of Mother Cow, stop cow smuggling and slaughter, and take concrete steps to preserve the Sanatan culture.

For the last 50 days, the agitators have been fighting for their rights peacefully in Ambphala Chowk, Jammu. During this period, the volunteers and workers involved in the movement have strongly put forward their demands before the government and society. But the agitators have expressed regret that till now no response has been received from the central and state governments.

The agitators allege that the government and public representatives have ignored the movement, the government does not seem to give priority to issues related to mother cow, cow slaughter and Sanatan culture and if the government and leaders were really sensitive towards Sanatan Dharma and cow mother, then They would come out in support of the movement.

He said that their main demands include national status to mother cow, formation of Sanatan Board for the protection of Sanatan religion and culture and making strict laws against cow smuggling and killing. The organizers of the movement made it clear that this movement will continue until the government takes concrete action on their demands.
