Jamnagar News: Five members of the family, including a small child, were involved in a fight between two Muslim families over bursting of firecrackers at Haripar Mevasa village in Kalavad taluka of Jamnagar district. All the injured were taken to Jamnagar GG Hospital for treatment. After getting information about this incident, Jamnagar LCB, SOG and Kalavad police reached Haripar Mevasa village.
CCTV footage of the entire incident has surfaced. Investigation was done on the basis of CCTV in Kalavad village and a complaint has been lodged with the police regarding the involvement of four people including a father and two sons in the incident of attack and firing.
According to the information received, a clash broke out between two Muslim families over a trivial matter like bursting of firecrackers in Haripar Mevasa village of Kalavad taluk of Jamnagar district. Which reached the level of fighting and firing. Five members of the Halani Sumra family, including a child, were injured in the firing. Seemaben Halani, Tajunbhai Halani, Tamannaben Halani, Ayeshaben Halani and Aslihan Mathumpotra were injured in the late night firing and were immediately shifted to Jamnagar Government GG Hospital.

According to Tanjumbhai Kasambhai Halani, he came to his house at ten o'clock last night and went out with two couplets to burst crackers. When they were bursting crackers, Yunus Tayyab reached there. Where Tanjumbhai, who was bursting crackers, was asked not to burst crackers here. About which Tanjumbhai said that firecrackers will be burst here. In response to which Tayyab said, “If you burst crackers, I will burst them” and went away from there.
After this, within a few minutes a scorpion came and stood there. From which Tayyab came out armed with a rebar, pistol with welding case, Asif attacked with a knife and his son. In which Tayyab fired at Tunjumbhai and others attacked with other weapons. Tanjumbhai's family members came out after seeing the house. Then these people attacked all of them. In which five members including a girl were injured and all the people died in the incident. In this incident, five members including Tanjumbhai Halani, Simran Tanjumbhai Halani, Tamanna Halani, Aysuben Firozbhai Halani and one other were taken to the hospital with injuries.
After this incident, the police convoy reached the spot and conducted further investigation. In which, on the basis of CCTV footage of the time of the incident, a crime under Arms Act and attempt to murder has been registered against those who fired, Yunus Tayyab Halpautra, Asif Yunus Halpautra, Amin Yunus Halpautra and Mohammad Sama.
