5 friends who were looking for their way with the help of a map got stuck in a dense forest

A disturbing incident has come to light from Dhenkanal, Odisha. Where a group of five friends were finding their way through Google Maps and lost their way. After this, they wandered hungry and thirsty in the Saptasajya forest for about 11 hours. A memorable trip turned into an 11th hour ordeal for them. After searching for several hours, they managed to contact the police and heaved a sigh of relief.

'I found out from Google Maps that this is a beautiful place!'

One of the boys from the group said, “We went for a walk and crossed a moving temple and reached the top of the hill. Where we found out from Google that there is a beautiful place at the top where other people come. The boy said we should see that beautiful place so we went there, but when we started returning we could not find the way out.

Following the map made the problem worse

Let us tell you that five friends had gone together on a bike to visit the famous Saptasajya temple. The five friends reached the temple around 11 am. Where they visited the temple situated on the hill and Vishnu Baba Math. After this, while returning, they took a wrong turn. Due to which all five people lost their way. By 2 pm they got lost in the dense forest. They could not find any way. They were also taking the help of Google Maps for the way, due to which they were getting stuck more.

Life was saved after hours of effort

After following Google Maps for a long time, they realized that taking the help of Google Maps was increasing their troubles. Because Google Maps was leading to unknown areas. Tired and hungry, they reached Bhuashuni Khola at 5:30 pm that evening. Where they struggled to find their way for hours. Meanwhile, one of them managed to contact the police and asked for their help. After receiving the information, the Dhenkanal Police started the rescue operation in collaboration with the Forest Department and then two teams were sent to rescue the five. After which all five were rescued. Let us tell you that all five friends are students of a private ITI college in Cuttack. Their names are being told as Sujitya Sahu, Surya Prakash Mohanty, Subhan Mohapatra, Himanshu Das and Arakshita Mohapatra.
