5. Kakatiya Rudreshwara (Ramappa) Temple, Telangana

Kakatiya Rudreshwara (Ramappa) Temple is an ancient temple included in the World Heritage List of Telangana. This temple is a grand temple built in the shape of a star. This temple was built by Kakatiya king Rudradev in the 12th century. There are one thousand pillars in this temple, hence it is also called the thousand pillared temple. The special thing about this temple is that the stones used to build it do not sink in water.
