5 big plane accidents in the world, thousands of people lost their lives in different airlines

March 27, 1977- Los Rodeos Airport

Talking about the world's biggest plane crash, this accident happened on 27 March 1977 at Los Rodeos Airport. In this accident, the planes of Pan Air and KLM Airlines collided with each other. A total of 583 passengers and crew members died in this accident, which was one of the worst accidents in the world, including 234 passengers and 14 crew members of KLM. Out of 396 passengers of Pan Air, 335 died in this accident.

August 12, 1985 – Japan Airlines

The world's second biggest accident happened on 12 August 1985, about 100 km from Tokyo. In this accident, Japan Airlines Flight 123 was going from Tokyo to Osaka. About 32 minutes after takeoff, the plane crashed into Mount Takamagahara. The accident killed 520 people on board the plane, including 509 passengers and 15 flight crew members. This plane crash is the worst accident till date, in which the largest number of passengers have lost their lives.

12 November 1996 – Kazakhstan Airlines

The world's third biggest plane crash happened in Charkhi Dadri, Delhi. In this accident that happened on 12 November 1996, Kazakhstan Airlines flight 1907 going from Chimkent to Delhi and Saudi Airlines flight 763 going from Delhi to Dhahran collided with each other. 349 people died in this accident. This air accident is one of the most dangerous accidents that happen in the air. Not a single passenger on board the plane survived in this accident.

June 23, 1985- Air India

The world's biggest tragedy is related to India's Air India. On 23 June 1985, an Air India flight took off from Toronto. The flight was to reach Delhi via Montreal and London. Near the south-west coast of Ireland, the cargo of the plane suddenly exploded and the plane crashed. In this accident, all 307 passengers and 22 crew members on board the plane died.

Turkish Airlines crashed

Turkish Airlines Flight 981 took off from Orly Airport for London. Shortly after takeoff, the cargo gate of the plane separated from the plane, causing a massive explosion. After this, the upper floor of the plane collapsed. Shortly after, while diving, the plane crashed into a forest northeast of Paris. All 346 passengers on board the plane died in this accident.
