Greater Noida, 26 September. The fourth Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS)-2026, organized under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to establish Uttar Pradesh as a major export and investment center of the country, remained a big platform for business and global business dialogue for the second day. Nearly 4,700 B2B meetings took place on Saturday between foreign buyers and participating exhibitors from the state in the ongoing five-day trade show at India Expo Center and Mart, Greater Noida. These meetings resulted in the signing of 412 MoUs with an estimated commercial value of approximately US$54.2 million.
These results of the second day underline the interest of international buyers in Uttar Pradesh’s products and services and the role of trade shows in directly connecting the state’s exporters, entrepreneurs and MSMEs with the global market. Through the Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet, foreign buyers and entrepreneurs of the state are getting an opportunity for face-to-face interaction, paving the way for converting potential business partnerships into agreements.
More than 2,800 B2B meetings took place on the first day as well.
On the first day of UPITS, more than 2,800 business meetings were held in the special B2B area in Hall No. 17. Around 500 MSMEs from Uttar Pradesh participated in these and business inquiries worth around Rs 140 crore were recorded. Direct interaction between foreign buyers and Indian sellers provided an opportunity to explore business opportunities in various product and service sectors.
Yogi government’s initiative to bring local products to the global market
The objective of UPITS organized by the Yogi government is to connect the products, services, exporters and MSMEs of Uttar Pradesh with the global market and create new opportunities for investment and business partnerships in the state. The trade show brings together Indian manufacturers, exporters, MSMEs, investors, global buyers and delegations from partner countries on a single platform. In line with the government’s ‘Local to Global’ direction, this platform is giving the entrepreneurs of the state an opportunity to directly reach out to international buyers. Exclusively through reverse buyer-seller meets and structured B2B interactions, product demonstrations along with real business contacts and potential export deals are being negotiated.
