Beirut: Heavy fighting is going on between the Israeli army and Hezbollah terrorists in the southern part of Lebanon. In the last 24 hours, the Israeli army has killed 45 terrorists including the battalion commander of Hezbollah. While Hezbollah has killed five Israeli soldiers and injured many others. 11 people have been killed in Israeli air strikes in Gaza. Meanwhile, for the first time there has been an attack on Israel from the Jordanian border. One of them has been killed by Israeli soldiers.

After the assassination of Hamas chief Sinwar, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu told Gazans that the war would stop tomorrow if Hamas lay down its weapons and returned the hostages. He also said that the war in Gaza will not end until Hamas releases the hostages. Sinwar's death is not the end of the war in Gaza, but the beginning of the end. There are currently 101 hostages in Gaza. These hostages are citizens of 23 countries.

Additionally, Hamas acknowledged that its leader Yahya Sinwar has died. Khalil al-Haya, another Hamas leader, confirmed Sinwar's death. He also reiterated that Israeli hostages will not be released until there is a ceasefire in Gaza. Attacks on Gaza will not stop until Israel withdraws.

Also, in a surprising turn of events, some terrorists tried to infiltrate into the southern part of Israel from the Jordanian border. They attempted to enter from the Dead Sea area. Two terrorists fired on Israeli forces and the IDF killed both.
