Gandhinagar District Employment Exchange Office conducted 32 Industrial Recruitment Fairs during the year 2023 and placed 4187 candidates by around 185 employers.
This information was given by Labor and Employment Minister Balwant Singh Rajput in response to a question asked by a member in the Assembly House.
He said that 522 candidates from Dehgam taluka of Gandhinagar district, 1076 from Kalol taluka, 2327 from Gandhinagar taluka and 262 from Mansa taluka have been given employment.
In order to enable the youth of the state to get employment easily, the employment office of each district organizes various cluster based recruitment fairs in coordination with local private units to get information about vacancies in their units. 85 percent of these jobs are given to local youth.
