Mirzapur, 30 October (Hindustan Reporter). Rajgarh police team recovered 41 boxes of firecrackers loaded on a pickup during a search at Block Tiraha of the police station area on Wednesday. Police arrested a youth resident of Prayagraj who was traveling in the vehicle.
On the basis of information, Rajgarh police team arrested Ankit Kesarwani, son of Ajay Kumar Kesarwani, resident of Maheva police station, Naini district, Prayagraj, who was traveling in a pickup near Block Tirahe of the police station area. During the search, 41 boxes of firecrackers (1285 kg) containing huge quantity of different types of gunpowder were recovered from the vehicle. In relation to the arrest and recovery, a case was registered at the police station and legal action was taken and the arrested accused was sent to jail. The vehicle used in transportation was seized under the MV Act.
Police station head Rajgarh Mahendra Patel said that the arrested accused was bringing this firecracker from Prayagraj. Was taking it to give to a person in Robertsganj.
