Ranchi, 29 February (HS). 40 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting held at the Jharkhand Ministry on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Champai Soren.

The benefits will be given on the lines of state universities. 200 units of free electricity will be provided monthly to the families of Tana Bhagats.
Those state government employees whose appointment advertisement was done once before 2004 but who made the contribution after 01-12-2004, will not have to return the contribution which was there before their appointment. Old pension will also be benefited. The dress allowance of government employees has been increased. Now they will get dress allowance of Rs 5000 instead of Rs 2500. Other decisions of the cabinet
Approval of Rs 130 crore was given for Ramrekha Reservoir Scheme. Health insurance of Rs 5 lakh, which is to be given through the insurance company for various service works of the state government, will be paid under CGA, if the expenditure is above Rs 5 lakh, other than the empaneled hospital.
