40 proposals approved in Jharkhand Cabinet, 200 units of free electricity to Tana Bhagat families

Ranchi, 29 February (HS). 40 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting held at the Jharkhand Ministry on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Champai Soren.

Cabinet Secretary Ajay Kumar Singh said that approval was given to provide the benefit of provident fund cum gratuity to the teachers and teaching staff of Up Shastri Inter and Sanskrit College affiliated in Ranchi. The benefits will be given on the lines of state universities. 200 units of free electricity will be provided monthly to the families of Tana Bhagats.

Those state government employees whose appointment advertisement was done once before 2004 but who made the contribution after 01-12-2004, will not have to return the contribution which was there before their appointment. Old pension will also be benefited. The dress allowance of government employees has been increased. Now they will get dress allowance of Rs 5000 instead of Rs 2500. After the Central Government refused to provide funds, now the State Government will construct the World Trade Center with its own funds. Funds have been allocated for this.

Other decisions of the cabinet

Approval of Rs 130 crore was given for Ramrekha Reservoir Scheme. Health insurance of Rs 5 lakh, which is to be given through the insurance company for various service works of the state government, will be paid under CGA, if the expenditure is above Rs 5 lakh, other than the empaneled hospital. You will get more amount. Money will also be available for air ambulance and organ transplant. Allowance of Rs 37,500 to glider pilots and affected pilots, 166 schools upgraded to plus two schools.

-Withdrawal of funds from the treasury and all arrangements for central schemes will be paperless. The Government of Jharkhand will bear the Government of India's share of the funds for the construction of the World Trade Centre. Jharkhand government will give Rs 19 crore. The Government of India had refused to give the amount, now the entire amount of Rs 47 crore will be given by the state government. In Netaji Residential School, Kasturba Vidyalaya, the cost of food has been increased from Rs 1400 to Rs 2290 per student per month. Apart from this, the amount for electricity and other expenses has also been increased. In this, miscellaneous grant of Rs 2.50 lakh will be given and Rs 3.50 lakh will be given for electricity.

-The office of the Food Safety Commissioner in the Directorate of AYUSH under the Health Department and the Directorate of Medical Education were notified as attached offices of the Secretariat.

-Abua Housing Scheme's target reached 20 lakhs, primary education will be provided in Anganwadi center

-The tenure of Jharkhand State Election Commissioner will be four years and till the age of 64 years, whichever is earlier.

-Dr Vikas Lal was dismissed from service.

– Anganwadi Chalo campaign will be started in the state. Rs 211.48 crore will be spent. Primary education will be provided to children of age three, four and six. Two pants or skirts will be given to the girls. Books, crayons and sewing of the dress will be provided. Rs 1400 will be spent per child.

-Sir JC Bose University was established. All the colleges of Giridih and Koderma will be involved in this.

-There will be beautification of the offices and residences of the Rural Development Department.

After approval of the rural road plan from MGC, Rs 47 crore was sanctioned.

-Simplification has been done in the Chief Minister Critical Illness Scheme. The Civil Surgeon will be able to approve up to Rs 5 lakh and above Rs 5 to 10 lakh, the committee will approve.

-Jharkhand Public Works Contract Dispute Middle Pillar Tribunal MLA 2024 approved. Under this, if there was any dispute regarding payment between the contractor and the engineer, then first the contractor used to file a civil suit and after the order was passed, the case would go up for appeal only. In this case, if the decision was against the government, then a lot of interest was charged. But now it has been amended and a tribunal will be constituted. He will resolve all disputes.
