4 women died in landslide

Major accident in Kasganj: A major accident took place this morning in Kasganj district of Uttar Pradesh. Four women have died after being buried under a landslide in Mohanpura town here. A religious program was organized in Kasganj district. During this time, during the religious program, some women needed soil, so the women present in the satsang came in large numbers to collect the soil. Where an entire rock fell on the women while digging soil. At the same time, more than two dozen women and children are buried under the soil. Immediate rescue operation was started. As soon as the information was received, police and administrative officials reached the spot. The tunnel was so deep that JCB had to be called to rescue the women and children buried below. The rescued women and children have been taken to the hospital for treatment.

The accident took place this morning between Rampur and Kataur villages of Mohanpura town. According to the information received, women and children of Rampur village had come here to collect soil. During this time a mud rock suddenly collapsed. About 20 women and children were buried under the soil.

Help of JCB was taken for rescue

According to the information received, the mud rock was quite hollow. When women and girls were digging soil, soil fell on them. Due to great depth, everyone got buried deep in the mud. The team that came for rescue did the work of removing the soil with the help of JCB. One by one all the women and girls were taken out. They were sent to the district hospital for treatment, where doctors declared one of the four women dead.

Administrative system officials reached the spot

As soon as information about the accident was received, District Magistrate Medha Rupam, SP Aparna Rajat Kaushik, MLA Hariom Verma and BJP District President KP Singh Solanki reached the spot. The District Magistrate took information about the incident from the villagers.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of this tragedy. He has expressed his condolences to the bereaved families. Also, the officials have been instructed to immediately take the injured to the hospital and provide proper treatment.
