Mumbai, June 01 (HS). Navi Mumbai Police on Saturday arrested four shooters of Lawrence Bishnoi gang who were conducting recce of film actor Salman Khan's farmhouse in Panvel. The shooters have been identified as Dhananjay alias Ajay Kashyap, Gaurav Bhatia alias Nahvi, Waspi Khan alias Wasim Chikna and Rizwan Khan alias Javed Khan. The team of Navi Mumbai Police Station has registered an FIR against these four along with 17 people including Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol Bishnoi, Sampat Nehra, Goldie Brar in this case.
According to the police, these four were doing recce at Salman Khan's farmhouse in Panvel late Friday night. Navi Mumbai Police had already received confidential information that some henchmen of Lawrence Bishnoi gang are in Panvel and are plotting to kill Salman Khan. It was also learnt that a deal for three types of weapons was done with a Pakistani supplier. Lawrence Bishnoi gang had made complete plans to attack Salman Khan at his farmhouse. Based on this information, Navi Mumbai Police arrested these four shooters while doing recce at Salman Khan's farmhouse.
It is noteworthy that a month ago, motorcycle riders had fired outside Salman Khan's house in Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. Both the accused Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were arrested from Gujarat. After this, Anuj Thapan, related to this case, was arrested from Punjab. On May 1, Thapan died in the Mumbai Police lockup.
