4 people killed due to building collapse in Mustafabad, Delhi, NDRF rescues 14 people

A building collapse incident has come to light in Delhi. Four people died after a four -storey building collapsed at Shakti Vihar Dayalpur in Mustafabad, Delhi. It is being told that this incident is late Friday night. The rescue operation was carried out by the NDRF team after the building collapsed. So far, the NDRF team has rescued 14 people while doing relief and rescue work. Rescue work is going on as many people are feared buried in the debris of the building.

4 people died due to building collapse

Rescue work is going on after a four -storey building collapsed in Mustafabad, under which many people are expected to be stranded. Firefighters are making every effort to remove the debris soon and the locals are also helping in the rescue operations. So far 4 people are reported to have been killed in the building collapse. While more than 15 people have suffered serious injuries. It is being told that more than 10 people are still feared buried in the debris. Relief and rescue operations are being carried out to remove them.

Relief work continues by rescue team

According to media reports, at 2:50 pm on Friday night, the fire brigade was reported to have collapsed at Shakti Vihar Dayalpur in New Mustafabad. NDRF and police personnel immediately rushed to the spot and started saving people buried in the rubble. In connection with this incident, a local person said that about three to four families including tenants and landlords live in this house. And this is the reason that when the building collapsed, about 20 to 25 people can be buried under the debris. NDRF and fire department personnel took out 4 bodies from the rubble and rescued 14 people. Relief work is going on by the rescue team. The police have sent the bodies for postmortem and started investigating the building collapse. It is not yet known how this incident happened. The police will investigate whether the building was in a dilapidated condition or suddenly collapsed due to an accident.
