Mumbai: Police have registered a case against four candidates for allegedly using stimulants during the aptitude test for police recruitment at Mira-Bhayander in Thane district.
In this regard, a police officer said that the field test and physical test of the candidates for police recruitment was conducted in Mira-Bhayander between June 24 and July 1.
During this time, the anti-narcotics cell personnel found stimulant drugs and syringes from the three candidates. Giving further information, the police said that during the test on June 30, the same stimulant drug was found with another candidate as well.
All four candidates were medically examined. After this, a case was registered against these four candidates at Mira Road Police Station on June 28 and 30 under various provisions of the IPC and the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
