The four major railway lines proposed to be constructed in Bihar are:

Gaya-Daltonganj Rail Line: New route will boost trade

A new railway line will be built from Gaya to Imamganj via Daltonganj and Banke Bazaar, on which Rs 426 crore will be spent. - Importance:

Gaya-Gadhna Bypass Rail Line: Distance will be reduced
- Length: 10 kilometers.
- Cost: Rs 224 crore.

- Bypass will be built between Chiraila-Pathu and Bagaha-Bishunpur.

- Travel between Gaya and Garhna will be faster.
- Trains will pass directly through the bypass without stopping at Sonnagar station.
