4 laborers died in a major accident during mining in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh

A major accident occurred during mining on a hill in Mahoba district. During mining work, suddenly a part of the mountain broke and fell into the mine, where about 15 laborers were working. The district administration has so far confirmed the death of four laborers in the accident.

Let us tell you that this tragic accident happened in Kabrai, famous as Pathar Mandi of Uttar Pradesh. According to the information, the lease of DRS mountain in Pahra village here is in the name of Dhanraj Singh. Today more than a dozen laborers were engaged in mining work on this mountain. The workers were digging pits for blasting on the mountain. Then suddenly a part of the mountain fell into a 500 feet deep mine.

Before the workers knew anything, they were buried under the debris of the hill.

Panic spread among the workers due to the collapse of a part of the mountain. Before the workers could understand anything, many workers were buried under the debris of the suddenly fallen mountain. As soon as the news of the mining accident on the hill was received, there was an outcry among the families of the workers and within no time the entire village gathered on the hill. It is being told that after the accident, the mining operator on the mountain has fled from the spot.

Divisional Commissioner and IG reached the spot

As soon as the information was received, district DM Mridul Chaudhary, SP Aparna Gupta, Divisional Commissioner and IG reached the spot. After this tragic accident, police from four police stations along with the fire brigade team are engaged in rescue operations. The bodies of four laborers Rammilan Kushwaha, Ramphool, Pyare and Kuldeep were pulled out from the debris. While two other laborers Kailash and Dhiru have been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
