Porbandar: Porbandar LCB has arrested 4 people, including notorious gangster Bhima Dula, in an undercover operation on the outskirts of Boricha village near Adityana in the early hours of Friday. Along with this, a huge quantity of weapons and money were also recovered. 91 lakh cash has been seized.
According to the details received in this regard, Bhima Dula conspired with his friends and brutally beat an Isam with a hoe during the election campaign in Bagwodar on 24th September. In this matter, Porbandar LCB formed a separate team and investigated.
Porbandar LCB team received information through technical and human intelligence that the people involved in the attack in Boricha village were about to pass through Patiya of Boricha village under Ranavav police station limits.
Based on this information, 3 teams were formed and surveillance was kept near Patiya of Boricha village. Where according to reports two persons with similar description passed away. Therefore, Isman both were brought to the LCB office and when interrogated, he himself confessed to having committed the crime. While the name of his third brother-in-law was said to be Masri Lakhman Odedara. Whereas Bhima Dula, resident of Adityana, confessed to hatching a pre-planned conspiracy to beat up the complainant at the behest of Odedara.
Among these, there was also information about Masri Odedara hiding at Bhimi Dula's house. Therefore, based on the fact of Bhima Dula Odedara's involvement in the crime, the police formed six teams and raided the house of Bhima Dula Odedara in Adityana. From where Bhima Dula Odedra and Mashri Lakhman Odedra were arrested and the house was searched and a huge quantity of weapons were found which included barbars and air guns, daggers, axes, swords, small knives, spear sticks, small and big guns, guns, cartridges. And liquor bottles were involved. Apart from this, more than Rs 91 lakh cash was seized and the entire matter was taken over by the police.
According to the initial investigation of the police, Bhila Dula is the brother of a former MLA, hence he is running a gang in Porbandar by getting political support. Being a gang leader in Bhima Dula Adityana Panthak, he killed Mula Modhwadia, a supporter of MLA Arjun Modhwadia. Bhima Dula is involved in criminal activities including extortion, kidnapping.
Bheemdula Odedara's name is also registered in the police register in the double murder case of Sandhi father-son in Adityana village. Police raided Bhima Dula Odedara, who was creating terror in Porbandar and surrounding villages and now the police is investigating the old crime.
