Coca-Cola is considering selling some stake in its bottling business Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) to four top business families in the country, according to a financial affairs newspaper report.

The top four business families approached by Coca-Cola are Jubilee Group, Burma family of Dabur, Parekh family of Peedlite Industries and promoters of Asian Paints. The original intention of the cola company is to expand its business with a sum of one billion dollars.
It will also launch an IPO to expand the plant.
The company also wants to bring an IPO for its expansion plant. Coca-Cola is moving towards long-term investment in India. Last January, its administration and sales operations were handed over to local partners in Rajasthan, Bihar, West Bengal and the North East.
The company also changed franchisees in the Philippines as well as other parts of the country
HCCB has 16 factories across India. The revenue from these factories grew 40 per cent to Rs 12,840 crore in FY23. As of March 29, 2024, the company generated revenue of $599 million from franchisees in the Philippines and other parts of the country.
