The northern end of the Ghaziabad-Kanpur Greenfield Expressway will connect to NH-9 (Ghaziabad-Hapur Highway), while the southern end will connect to the 62.7 km long Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway. After the construction of Ghaziabad-Kanpur Greenfield Expressway, the road connectivity of many cities of Uttar Pradesh with Delhi-NCR will improve further. The special thing is that through this expressway, the journey from Ghaziabad to Kanpur will be completed in just 3 and a half hours. Currently it takes 8 hours because NH-91 connects Ghaziabad and Kanpur and the length of this highway is 468 kilometers.

The demand for residential and commercial properties and land may increase here. NHAI said that after the completion of land acquisition for this expressway, it will be completed by 2026.
