36 proposals passed in Jharkhand cabinet, dearness allowance of pensioners and government employees increased | News India

Ranchi, September 20 (HS). Ranchi, September 20 (HS). A total of 36 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting held on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The cabinet has given a big gift to the pensioners and government employees working under the state government. The cabinet has approved the increase in dearness allowance of these employees. DA of revised pension and family pensioners was increased from 234 to 239. DA of government employees was increased from 427 to 443 percent. The increased dearness allowance of all government employees will be effective from January 1, 2024. Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel gave this information.

Other cabinet decisions

– The government has also announced to increase the contract amount of contract workers.

-It was decided to give ₹ 100 more bonus per quintal for paddy procurement from the farmers of the state. This year a target of procurement of six lakh metric tonnes has been set. In the financial year 2024-25, the minimum support price of paddy has been fixed at ₹ 2300 per quintal for ordinary paddy and ₹ 2320 per quintal for paddy above this. ₹ 100 bonus will be given in this. Approval was given to give smartphones worth ₹ 12000 to 29604 Jalsahaiya through DBT. It will cost Rs 34 crore 40 lakh. Now the workers of the state will get the benefit of government schemes only by self-declaration certified certificate.

-Approval was given to 107 junior engineers to obtain services on contractual basis in urban local bodies under the Urban Development and Housing Department, Jharkhand State Housing Board, Ranchi Regional Development Authority, and Jharkhand Mineral Development Authority JUSCO Limited, under the Directorate of ancillary units of the department.

-Revised estimate of Rs 47.33 crore was approved for road construction from Birsa Chowk Ranchi to Dhurwa roundabout and from Dhurwa roundabout to project building.

-Revised approval was given for the plan of Rs 97 crore 5 lakh for making 4 lanes of Dumka bypass.

-Revised estimate of Rs 280 crore 60 lakh was approved for Birsa Munda Airport, Hethu Ring Road Path 6.9 km road.

-Approval of Rs 67 crore plan for construction of new building of RSP College in Dhanbad.

-Approval for creation of 32 posts for B.Pharma studies in Pharmacy College Bariatu.

-A scheme of Rs 45 crore was approved for the reconstruction of Government Polytechnic in Bokaro etc. The newly constructed engineering college in Bokaro and the newly constructed engineering college in Godda were approved to be operated as Government Polytechnic College.

-The rules of Census 2009 were amended.

-Under Gyanodya Scheme, approval was given to run additional smart classes in 291 higher secondary colleges.

-A scheme of Rs 31.69 crore was approved to improve the riding quality of 44 km long Hat Gamharia Beni Sagar Road under Road Division Chaibasa.

-Administrative approval of about Rs 241 crore for construction of bridge on Mayurakshi river.

-Approval of amendment in Jharkhand Animal Husbandry Service Rules.

-Approval of amendment in Jharkhand Birth and Death Registration.

-Approval of Rs 60 crore for the bonus amount of Rs 100 per quintal to be given by the state government for purchasing paddy from farmers.

-Approval of amendment in the Building and Workers Registration Rules 2006.

-107 engineers will be reinstated on contract basis in the urban local body.

-Approval of Rs 92 crore for the reconstruction of 17.37 km road from Mohammadganj to Haidernagar by the Centre.
