352 workers approved a financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh each for housing construction

Raipur, June 22 (HS). Under the Chief Minister's Construction Workers Housing Assistance Scheme in the Vishnudev Government of the labour-friendly state, on the instructions of Labour Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan, a total of 352 workers of the state have been approved an assistance amount of Rs one lakh each.

Under the Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana, funds are given to eligible beneficiaries to the registered construction workers of Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board for building a house on their own plot or for purchasing a new house.

After the removal of the code of conduct, Labor Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan recently reviewed all the schemes by holding a marathon meeting of the Labor Department. In the review meeting, the Labor Minister had directed the officials to immediately release the amount to the eligible beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana. On the instructions of Minister Shri Devangan, the amount was sanctioned to 352 beneficiaries across the state. The beneficiaries are given an amount of Rs 1 lakh each in their account through DBT.

Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan has directed the officers of the Labor Department of all districts to provide benefits to as many eligible workers as possible under this scheme. Help the workers in filling and submitting the form.
