Moradabad, 17 April (HIST). 330 roadways buses from Moradabad region will go for Lok Sabha election duty. These include 119 and 211 contracted buses of the Transport Corporation. Passengers will face problems due to the plying of such a large number of buses. On Wednesday also, buses were sent on election duty for the first round of voting. So far sixty buses of the Transport Corporation have been sent for election duty. These include 14 buses from Moradabad depot and 13 buses from Pitalnagar depot. Whereas on April 17, all the contracted buses for the polling party and police force were acquired. However, the effect of sending a large number of buses to the elections will increase the problems of the passengers.
The first round of voting in the Lok Sabha elections will take place on April 19. The administration has made preparations to conduct the elections. Corporation and contracted buses have been acquired from the Roadways Department for election duty. So far, 60 buses have been sent for duty from different depots in Moradabad region for the first round of elections. 43 buses have already been sent to various places. Seventeen buses were dispatched on Wednesday.
Moradabad's ARM Naresh Gupta said that 10 buses left from Moradabad depot. Whereas seven buses were sent for election duty from Brass City depot.
