Collector, Zila Panchayat President, public representatives, school children, local people and students participated Anuppur, July 10 (HS). Under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan, 3250 mango saplings of six varieties were planted in 5 hectares of area in Gram Panchayat Badra on Wednesday.

In which Collector Ashish Vashishth, District Panchayat President Preeti Singh, Ramdas Puri, District President Dhanmati Singh, District Member Lal Bahadur Sahu, Chandravati Bharti, Durga Patel, Malti Gupta, Sarpanch Badra Shivbhan Singh, Deputy Sarpanch Shakuntala Shukla, Hanuman Garg, Vinod Tiwari, Bilal Ahmed, Noor Mohammad Tanha, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Deepshikha Bhagat, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Anuppur Usha Kiran Gupta, Assistant Director of Horticulture Department Subhash Srivastava, Deputy Tehsildar Mithila Prasad Patel, Assistant Program Officer Rawendra Arya, Ankur Singh, SADO Sardar Singh, Sub-Engineer Luv Srivastava along with a large number of local citizens, women and students of CM Rise School participated in the Ek Ped Maa Naam campaign by planting saplings.
3125 mango plants of six varieties and 125 litchi plants have been planted on 5 hectares of land in Badra village panchayat of Anuppur district panchayat.

While planting a sapling, District Panchayat President Preeti Ramesh Singh said that life depends on trees. It should be the duty of all of us to plant as many trees as possible and protect them. While planting the sapling, the collector said that this campaign is to save human life. This is a good work and it should be continuously carried forward. He said that trees are the beauty of the earth, it is the biggest basis of our life. While motivating the school children who were planting saplings, he also stressed on its protection.
