Vijayawada, 03 September (HS). Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu reached the Sitara Center of the city today during his Vijayawada tour. During this, he inspected the situation in the flood colonies with the help of JCB. The Chief Minister himself went to the houses and collected information. On the negligence of the administration, Chandrababu said that action will be taken against the officials based on the reaction of the public.
Chief Minister Chandrababu said that all steps have been taken to solve the problems of flood victims. At the same time, the state administration has also received complaints that food has not yet reached some areas. We are sending the numbers of those victims who have not received food to the officials. He warned that if the officials show negligence, it will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken.
The Chief Minister spoke to the media at Vijayawada Collectorate and said that a senior IAS has been appointed for every division in the city. 32 IAS officers are engaged in the relief operation. He said that he himself is meeting with the hotel and restaurant owners and making food available from ten districts. He has ordered to provide three meals a day to the victims. He has clearly said that even the last victim should get help.
The Chief Minister said that 'the suffering of the poor due to the floods is indescribable. Snakes and scorpions have entered some houses. Due to this, all of them are in pain and fear. All the officers should work with a human approach. We are operating IVRS on the basis of the assistance received.'
CM Chandrababu said that he is also conducting random checks. In such a situation, all the employees of the state should ensure their best service. Appealing to all the people of the state, the CM said that we should stand with the victims in this difficult time. You can help in any way.

Meanwhile, a release issued by the Indian Navy Visakhapatnam said that 22 personnel trapped in floods have been rescued due to the efforts of the Indian Navy in Andhra Pradesh. Due to flood-like situation after continuous rains in Andhra Pradesh, on the request received from the local administration, Indian Naval aircraft, Flood Relief Teams (FRT) and diving teams from Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam have been deployed to augment Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) efforts in the state.
Four helicopters (02 ALH and 02 Chetak) and one Dornier aircraft have been deployed to provide Search and Rescue (SAR) cover. So far 22 stranded personnel have been rescued and more than 1000 kg of food has been airdropped for the stranded persons. 10 FRTs have also been deployed to augment the rescue efforts. Rescue teams have been put on standby readiness along with additional naval assets and associated gear to provide necessary assistance.
