32 behind bars in JEN paper leak, SOG looking for 100 more

Jaipur, March 1 (HS). The Special Operation Group is continuously making new revelations in the paper leak case of Junior Engineer Recruitment Examination- 2020. In the paper leak case, SOG has so far put 32 people behind bars by breaking the strings of the gang one after the other. SOG is still searching for more than 100 miscreants in this case. SOG is continuously conducting raids in search of these gang members. As information is coming out from the arrested people, the number of criminals is increasing.

Additional SP Bajrang Singh Shekhawat said that the accused Jagdish Vishnoi turned out to be the guru of all the miscreants. He has provided employment to a large number of people and has earned lakhs of rupees by purchasing paper for Rs 10 lakh. So far, about three dozen people have been arrested in the paper leak case and SOG is looking for 100 more people. SOG on Thursday arrested paper leak gang guru Jagdish Vishnoi on the trail of Rajendra and Shivratan Moth, who were arrested on February 20. During interrogation, it came to light that he has been associated with the paper leak gang since 2005. He told that in the last 19 years, he has got the papers of many examinations of the state leaked, he himself does not even remember. Paper leak gang mafia works like network marketing. After a few years of experience, they combine their henchmen and form a separate gang. Rajendra and Harshvardhan are running such gangs.

During interrogation, Jagdish told that after getting the paper leaked, he used to leave the state and go to other states on the same day. Jagdish had appointed Shivratan Moth and Pankaj Choudhary alias Unique Bhamu, residents of Sriganganagar, as his special henchmen. Both of them used to buy paper from Jagdish and sell it further. Both of them also had their own gangs. After Shivratan's arrest on February 20, Unique fled to Dubai. Efforts are on to arrest him.

Shekhawat told that the accused used to get the papers leaked from the employees through the printing press itself. Due to strictness there, he started leaking the papers by paying huge money to the staff from the strong room of the schools. Meanwhile, from 2010 he was associated with teacher Rajendra Kumar Yadav. Both of them are so clever that they used to talk not from their own phones but from the phones of the henchmen involved in the gang. It is being told that the gang members have assets worth crores. Rajendra, who gets a salary of only Rs 60 thousand, is said to have 13 flats in Shyamnagar. There are 2 houses in Jhotwada worth Rs 3.5 crore and also a jewelery shop. Plot worth Rs 1 crore on 200 feet bypass. A 500 square yard house in Harnathpura, two houses in Kardhani and a buffalo enclosure. Boring for selling water in Jeenmata Nagar, two plots in Gokulpura Kardhani.

SOG raided 3 schools, a college and 4 houses including the government school located in Khatipura of Rajendra. From here, photo copies of hundreds of marksheets, question papers, interview list of RPSC Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander Examination-2021, list of successful candidates of Female Supervisor, Lab Assistant, Agriculture Investigator recruitment, photo copies of OMR sheets, clerk recruitment examination. -Photo copies of 2018 papers and answer keys have been found. SOG is also investigating 3 associates Gopal, Arjun, Virendra in 3 schools.

SOG team has raided four locations of Harsh Vardhan. A bungalow (Pearl Villa D-13) near SKIT College in Jagatpura of Harsh Vardhan has been sealed. Plots of 1100, 1000 and 200 yards have been found in Govardhan Vatika in Dausa, which are worth more than two crores. Creta car, tent house worth Rs 50 lakh in the name of brother, locker and account in Axis Bank in the name of wife Sarita have been found from Harshvardhan. Apart from this, lists and admit cards of candidates selected in many competitive examinations have been recovered during the raid.
