Jalandhar : A three-year-old girl died after being hit by a car on Wednesday morning outside the quarter located near Khabra Gate Maan City Center under Pratappur police station. The girl, while playing with the children, came towards the road and collided with a Swift car coming from the other side. Deceased three-year-old Kareena was the youngest of four siblings.
After the accident, people controlled the car and informed the police. Police of Pratappura police station reached the spot and took the girl’s body into custody and kept it in the civil hospital for post-mortem. Police investigation revealed that the girl’s mother was not at home at the time of the incident and her father had gone to the village for work for the last few days. Family members called and informed about the accident.
