Mumbai: On Sunday, while returning home after visiting Ganesh temple after buying a new car in Pune, a serious accident took place in the collision between a container and a car on Lonikand Theur Road. Three people died in this accident. One person was injured.
Vinod Bhojane (age 36), Vitthal Jogdand (age 36) and Ganesh Jadhav (age 35) died in this accident. Hemant Lakhman Dalai (30 years) was seriously injured in this accident.
As per details, Ganesh Jadhav bought a new car. After purchasing the car, Ganesh and his friends Vinod, Vitthal and Hemant came to visit the Ganesh temple in Theur on Sunday. On Sunday evening around seven o'clock, he was returning home from Lonikand-Thure road after having darshan.
There was a massive collision between a container and a car in front of Jogeshwari Temple on Lonikand-Thure Highway and a terrible accident occurred. Ganesh and his friends were seriously injured in the accident. The car was completely damaged in this accident.
As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police immediately reached the spot and the four people trapped in the car were taken out and immediately taken to the hospital. In which Ganesh, Vitthal and Vinod died before treatment.
The container driver was arrested after the incident and the police is further investigating the matter.
