28 thousand 749 cases resolved in National Lok Adalat, 67 lakh fine recovered

Mirzapur, March 09 (Hindustan Reporter) National Lok Adalat was organized by the District Legal Services Authority in the Civil Court premises on Saturday. A total of 28 thousand 749 cases were disposed of and the concerned courts recovered a fine of Rs 67 lakh and a compensation award of Rs 500 crore was passed to the dead and injured. District Judge and District Legal Services Authority Chairman Anmol Pal inaugurated the Lok Adalat by lighting the lamp.

District Judge Anmon Pal disposed of two arbitration and miscellaneous cases and passed arbitration award of Rs 1.82 lakh. Chief Justice of Family Court, Rajendra Prasad Srivastava, after reaching a settlement in 26 family cases, happily sent the husband and wife home to live together. Presiding Officer Motor Tribunal Ram Pyare disposed of 91 motor accident compensation cases. Five crore 95 lakh, 39 thousand 442 rupees were given as compensation to the families of the dead and injured. Permanent Lok Adalat Chairman Brijesh Narayan Mishra disposed of seven cases.

Special Judge and POCSO Santosh Kumar Tripathi disposed of seven miscellaneous cases and collected a fine of Rs 8,000. Special Judge SCST Act Vayunandan Mishra disposed of three miscellaneous cases and levied a fine of Rs 1,000. Special Judge EC Act Chandragupta Yadav disposed of 35 miscellaneous and six electricity suits. Additional District Judge and Secretary DLSA Lalbabu Yadav settled 703 bank loan pre-litigation cases on the basis of settlement and recovered the loan by reaching a settlement of about Rs 6.83 crore with the defaulters.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Ratnam Srivastava disposed of a total of 1132 cases and collected a fine of Rs 5 lakh 50 thousand. Civil Judge (CD) Anand Kumar Upadhyay disposed of nine civil and succession suits and granted succession certificate worth Rs 19 lakh 52 thousand 32.

First Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Pragya Singh disposed of a total of 321 cases and collected a fine of Rs 74 thousand 300. Civil Judge (C.D.)-1 Lalita Yadav disposed of 207 minor criminal cases and collected fine of Rs 36,800. Civil Judge (C.D.)-2 Anjum Shafi disposed of 201 cases and collected fine of Rs 2000. Civil Judge (CD) and FTC Geetika Singh disposed of 252 cases and collected a fine of Rs 2500. Civil Judge (Judge) Anima Mishra disposed of eight civil suits and succession suits and issued succession certificate worth Rs 4 lakh 38 thousand 864. Additional Civil Judge (J.D.) Ankit Kumar disposed of 468 cases and collected a fine of Rs 2340. Additional Civil Judge (J.D.) Shivani Chaudhary disposed of 221 cases and collected a fine of Rs 7360. Priyamvada Lal disposed of 301 cases and recovered Rs 3,000 fine. Special Judicial Magistrate II disposed of four cases and recovered a fine of Rs 12,200.

State Bank of India, Indian Bank, Aryavrat Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India resolved the cases by setting up bank pandals.

With the efforts of Additional District Magistrate (V.R.) and Nodal Officer RLOA Shiv Pratap Shukla, the courts of City Magistrate, Sub-District Magistrates and Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars, Consolidation Courts resolved a total of 15445 revenue litigation cases. The Municipal Council disposed of 1559 cases. Disposed of 149 pre-litigation cases of Electricity Department. 1426 e-challan traffic challans were settled and online fine of Rs 9 lakh 85 thousand 400 was collected. Assistant Labor Commissioner disposed of a case and awarded Rs 12.21 lakh to the victim. Resolved 1288 cases from RTO department and collected fees of Rs 1.3 lakh.
