Moradabad, 20 November (HS). In the Kundarki Assembly by-election, 28.54 percent voting has taken place till 11 am on Wednesday. Out of total voters 384676 in the assembly, 108632 voters cast their vote.
Voting is going on since morning for Kundarki assembly by-election. A total of 13.61 percent voting has been recorded till 9 am and 28.24 percent voting till 11 am. The pace of voting was slow in the initial hours but with time the enthusiasm among the voters seems to be increasing. Strict security arrangements have been made at the polling stations. The district administration and the Election Commission have made elaborate arrangements to ensure fair and peaceful voting. During voting, agents of political parties were also seen active at various booths. Due to cold in the morning, there was less crowd at the polling stations. As the day progresses, the voting percentage is expected to increase.
Whereas SP candidate Haji Rizwan accused the administration of not allowing him to become a polling agent and the police of not allowing him to cast his vote at the booths. Haji Rizwan said that there was chaos in the entire assembly since morning. When District Magistrate Anuj Singh was talked to on this, he said that peaceful and fair voting is going on in the Kundarki Assembly by-election. We are talking to all the presiding officers. There is no problem of any kind anywhere.
