Mahendra Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Police at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Uttar Pradesh Police Academy, told a press conference on Wednesday that the four-day 26th Uttar Pradesh Police Annual Horse Riding Competition 2024 will be inaugurated from October 24 at the horse riding ground of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Uttar Pradesh Police Academy, Moradabad. . The competition will be inaugurated on Thursday at 08:55 am by the chief guest, Additional Director General of Police Amit Chandra at Police Training College, Moradabad. The competition will end on 27th October.

Additional SP further said that horse riding teams from Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Aligarh, Meerut, Bareilly will participate in the UP Police annual horse riding competition. There will be 85 participants and 45 horses in the competition. During the competition, Team Tent Pegging, Indian File Lawns and Sword, Show Jumping Preliminary, Dressage Individual Team will be held on 24th October and Uttar Pradesh Police Relay Competition, Brabo Jumping, Individual Tent Pegging, Horse Test Dressage from 8 am on Friday 25th October, Saturday 26th October. On 27th October from 08.30 am onwards Horse Competition, Middle Relay, Fault and Out, Horse Test On Sunday 27th October from 8:30 am onwards Tent Pegging Lawns, Sword Round-A, Show Jumping Top Score Open Show Jumping Open Sixwar, Tent Pegging Lawns , Sword Round-B and at 4 pm the prize will be distributed by the chief guest, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Director of UP Police Academy and Additional Director General of Police Rajiv Sabharwal Moradabad.
