Dharamshala, 28 October (Hindustan Reporter). As part of the anti-drug campaign conducted by Police District Noorpur, 262 grams of Chitta was recovered from a person at Indora turn on NH 144 under Police Station Damtal on Monday. The accused arrested by the police in this case has been identified as Kanwaljeet Singh, son of Mahindra Singh, resident of Arjunnagar tehsil and district Amritsar Punjab.
SP Police District Nurpur Ashok Ratna said that the police have arrested him by registering a case against the said accused in Damtal police station. Further action in the above case is being implemented as per rules. He said that this campaign against those involved in black drug trade will continue in future also.
