Just remember the sacrifice

The Kargil war between India and Pakistan lasted for 60 days. The Pakistani army climbed the hills of Kargil stealthily. Pakistani soldiers captured the 15 thousand feet high peaks of Kargil in Indian territory. But Indian soldiers showed indomitable courage and liberated Kargil from the occupation of Pakistani soldiers.

A memorial has been built here in memory of more than 500 Indian soldiers who fought in the Kargil war. It is dedicated to Indian soldiers. There are inscriptions and statues of Amar Prakash and soldiers who performed heroic deeds.
