251 Collective worship of mortal Shivalinga and Maharudrabhishek

Jaipur, August 4 (HS). Under the aegis of Shri Shiv Mahapuran Katha Samiti, a huge and unique event of 17th mass worship of 251 earthen Shivlings and Maharudrabhishek was organized on Hariyali Amavasya of Shravan month. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, who participated in the ritual, released the committee's strategic Shivarchana. In the ritual held on Hariyali Amavasya, mass recitation of Hanuman Chalisa, special worship of ancestors and staging of Shiv Natika were also held.

Arun Khatod, General Secretary of the committee, told that since 2008, the committee has been organizing mass Parthiv Shivling Pujan and Maharudrabhishek every year. This year, this event was organized on Shravan Amavasya, and along with Parthiv Shivling Pujan, Pran-Pratishtha and Maharudrabhishek, special worship of ancestors was also done. Every Yajaman couple participating in Parthiv Shivling Pujan and Maharudrabhishek kept separate Parthiv Shivling in front of them and did Shiv Puja-Archan and Abhishek by reciting loudly, ritualistically, Brihad Rudra Paath. Parthiv Shivlings were made by famous young sculptor Rajendra Arjun Prajapati.

Program coordinator Manoj Pansari said that the program started on August 4 at “Anantam Sapphire” Marriage Garden, Rajawas, Sikar Road Highway, Jaipur. For Rudrabhishek, a tanker of 20,000 liters of Gangajal was specially provided from Haridwar with the help of Laxminarayan Chaudhary and Prakash Singh Gaura family and water from Kailash Mansarovar, Galta and Tirtharaj Pushkar was also added to the Gangajal.

251 women and 251 men participated in the Kalash Yatra

The program's welcome chairman Kishan Gopal Kodia told that the grand Kalash Yatra started at 8:30 am and reached the venue. In the Kalash Yatra, along with the sweet sounds of DJ and the slogans of Shiva devotees, 251 women carrying Kalash on their heads and 251 men carrying earthen Shivling on their heads, learned Pandits and devotees reached the “Anantam Sapphire” marriage garden waving saffron flags, making sounds of bells, Ghadiyal, conch shells, dancing and singing.

Committee Chairman and Maharudrabhishek Acharya Suresh Shastri said that every Yajaman couple participating in Parthiv Shivling Pujan and Maharudrabhishek kept separate Parthiv Shivling in front of them and did Shiv Puja-Archan and Abhishek by reciting loudly, properly, Brihad Rudra Paath. Like last time, this time also the senior member of the committee Rajesh Kandoi family specially did Abhishek of Lord Ashutosh Shiva with 108 divine medicines. During the entire Rudra Paath, Parthiv Shivlings were anointed with Gangajal, milk, Panchamrit, sugarcane juice, Vijaya (Bhang) etc. After the Abhishek of 251 Parthiv Shivlings by the Yajaman couples, Maha Aarti was organized. Along with this, collective Hanuman Chalisa recitation was also done by Guru Amarnath ji in the program. Committee's Vice President Shri Trilok Khandelwal said that after the Maha Aarti, a wonderful presentation of Shiv Tandava dance and Bhasma Aarti was given by Jaipur's famous theatre group Virat Artist and Group, which was highly appreciated by all the devotees present.

Committee convener Arjun Singh Rathore said that Albeli Sharan Maharaj (Saras Nikunj), Mahant Gopaldas Maharaj (Shri Kale Hanuman Ji Temple), Hawamahal MLA and Mahamandaleshwar Balmukundacharya Maharaj (Hathoj Dham), Awadheshacharya Maharaj (Galta Peeth), Sudarshancharya Maharaj (Shri Ghat's Balaji Temple), Mahant Swami Trivikramacharya Maharaj attended the program and made the program more devotional with their blessings.

Committee's Vice President Shriram Kodia said that Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari released the committee's “Shivarchana” souvenir. After the Maha Aarti, the immersion of the worshipped earthen Shivlings was done the next day at Har Ki Pauri, Haridwar with full rituals by the committee's main workers and learned pundits.
