25 years of public service, a golden chapter in the democratic history. Keshav Prasad Maurya Seva Pakhwada will become a comprehensive campaign of public participation.

An online meeting of the Rural Development Department was called under the chairmanship of Keshav Prasad Maurya in which all the Chief Development Officers of the state were present., District Development Officer, Project Director Rural Development and Deputy Commissioner VB-G Ram-ji joined through online medium along with Principal Secretary Rural Development., Mission Director and Joint Mission Director and other departmental officers were present.

Main points and guidelines of the meeting:

• Detailed action plan from village to village: The Deputy Chief Minister directed that all Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Village Development Officers should prepare a detailed action plan of the proposed programs in each village and ensure timely implementation.
• Proposed major programs during the fortnight: ‘Aashirvad Ka Diya’, ‘Bachchan ke Sapno Ka Bharat’, ‘Namo Seva Data’, ‘Aangan Ka Utsav’, ‘Kahani Change Ki’, ‘Vikas Bharat Yatra’, ‘Seva Jyoti Installation’, ‘Vadnagar to Varanasi Seva Yatra’, ‘Seva Mera Shyamal’, ‘Seva Setu Abhiyaan’, ‘Seva Ke Rang Rashtra Ke Sang’, ‘National Innovation Challenge’, ‘Jan Seva’ Programs like ‘Maha Kumbh’ and ‘Good Governance Dialogue’ will be organised.
• Active public participation: Active participation of local public representatives, self-help groups (SHGs), youth, women, farmers and general public should be ensured. Every citizen should be motivated to play a role in nation building through ‘Seva Mera Contribution’.
• Focus on youth and innovation: Along with strengthening the spirit of service in rural areas, special emphasis should be given to encourage the youth to transform from ‘job seekers’ to ‘job givers’ and promote innovation.
• Regular review: Officials were instructed to regularly review all the programs and make their progress reports available to the government.
