25 candidates filed their nominations on the last day of nomination for 4 less seats in Jharkhand


Ranchi, 25 April (HS). The last day for nomination in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections was April 25. Voting is to be held in the fourth phase on four seats in Jharkhand. On the last day of nomination, 65 nomination forms were filed in which 25 new candidates nominated.

In Jharkhand, 144 nomination forms were filed by 65 candidates for the four Lok Sabha constituencies of Singhbhum, Khunti, Lohardaga and Palamu, in which 21 candidates have contested from Singhbhum, 17 from Lohardaga, 16 from Khunti and 11 from Palamu. Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Jharkhand Neha Arora said that the number of candidates will be clear only after scrutiny. The last date for withdrawal of nomination is 29th April. On Thursday, 8 nomination papers were filed in Singhbhum Lok Sabha constituency, 7 in Khunti, 7 in Lohardaga and three in Palamu.
