238 bottles of cough syrup recovered from Darbhanga-Saharsa bus, two sick people arrested

Saharsa, 17 July (HS). Police recovered 238 bottles of cough syrup from a bus going from Darbhanga to Saharsa at the Airport Chowk of the Sadar police station area of ​​the district. Along with this, two sick people have been arrested. Police first stopped the bus, during which a total of 238 bottles of Corex cough syrup were recovered in two bags during the search. Two people were arrested on the spot. Both the people looked sick. While one had a plaster on his hand, the other youth also had a bandage on his leg, but Corex cough syrup was recovered from the bags of both.

Sadar police station chief Subodh Kumar said that based on the secret information received by Inspector Jai Shankar Prasad of the District Information Unit, a bus coming from Darbhanga to Saharsa was stopped near the airport. A total of 238 bottles of Corex Cup Syrup were recovered from the bags of two passengers travelling in the bus, namely Akhilesh Kumar Singh, a resident of Navhatta and Mukesh Yadav, a resident of Gadhiya village of Sadar police station area. Both are being questioned.
