While development works are being given pace for the by-election to be held on Sisamau assembly seat, the Municipal Corporation is giving special emphasis on the cleanliness campaign. Despite this, the negligence of the employees has come to light and Municipal Commissioner Sudhir Kumar on Friday issued instructions to immediately remove 22 careless outsourced cleaning employees from their jobs. Apart from this, one month's salary of 21 permanent sanitation workers was deducted. Not only this, the ZSO of the zone and the sanitation and food inspector were also removed and attached to the headquarters.
Complaints were being received from Ward 4 Gwaltoli of Zone 4 of Sisamau Assembly that the cleaning work is not being done regularly, due to which filth is prevalent in the area. Regarding this, Municipal Commissioner Sudhir Kumar conducted a surprise inspection on Friday and on the spot JTN Services Pvt. Ltd. 22 outsourced sanitation workers employed by the corporation were found missing. On this, the Municipal Commissioner directed the concerned company to immediately remove all of them and to supply other employees in their place. Not only this, during the inspection, 21 regular sanitation workers were also found missing. On this, the Municipal Commissioner ordered to deduct one month's salary of all of them.
The Municipal Commissioner said that I will conduct surprise inspections from time to time. Therefore, employees and officers will have to change their working methods. At the same time, the Municipal Commissioner removed the zone's ZSO Shriram Chaurasia and cleanliness and food inspector Sachinand from the zone for their negligence in supervising the cleaning work and attached them to the headquarters. The strict action of the Municipal Commissioner in the same zone created a stir among the officers and employees.
