The two-day hearing of complaints on sensitization of human rights protection and good governance has started on Wednesday at Chamoli district headquarters Gopeshwar on behalf of Uttarakhand Human Rights Commission. On the first day, a total of 21 complaints from Chamoli, Pauri and Rudraprayag were heard and two complaints were disposed of. While five complaints were registered.
District Magistrate Chamoli Sandeep Tiwari said that it is necessary to protect the fundamental rights of any person. It is the responsibility of everyone in the society that if there is any information about violation of fundamental rights of any person, it should be resolved by placing it on the appropriate platform. On Thursday, September 12, 36 complaints of Chamoli, Pauri and Rudraprayag district will be heard. At the same time, a legal literacy camp was also organized by the District Legal Services Authority. Legal information was given to Asha workers with the cooperation of the Health Department. During this, Justice BK Bisht, Human Rights Commission member Girdhar Singh Dharmasattu, Ram Singh Meena, Secretary Deependra Kumar Chaudhary, Registrar Law Brijendra Mani Tripathi, District Legal Services Authority Secretary Puneet Kumar etc. were present.
