Ranchi, 08 October (HS). Tight security arrangements have been made for Durga Puja in the capital Ranchi. 2000 policemen have been deployed for security. This also includes DSP, Inspector and Inspector. Rapid Action Police (RAP), QRT, Echo, SIRB, ZAP, District Police and Danda Party will be deployed for security. Apart from this, special monitoring will be done on security in various areas through drones and CCTV cameras. Armed soldiers have been deployed in sensitive areas. Apart from puja pandals, security personnel have been specially deployed at religious places. Apart from this, fire brigade, Vajra vehicle, tear gas, colored water etc. have been kept in reserve. Not only this, policemen have been deployed to keep an eye on social media. If inflammatory posts are posted in any WhatsApp group, action will be taken not only against the group administrator but also against the person posting the post. All SPs including SSP will keep an eye on security.
Traffic system will change
Due to Durga Puja in the capital Ranchi, changes have been made in the traffic arrangements on the main roads of the city from October 9 (Saptami) to October 13 (Idol immersion). Entry of private and passenger vehicles in the city will remain closed from 4:00 pm from October 9 to 13 till 4:00 am the next day. Also, entry of heavy vehicles in the urban area will be prohibited from 8:00 am to 4:00 am on the next day.
