20 lakh officers and employees of Uttar Pradesh will get the gift of salary before Diwali.

Lucknow, 21 October (HS). The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is going to give Diwali gifts to all the officers and employees of the state. Orders have been given to pay salaries in all departments till 30th October.

Additional Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Deepak Kumar has said in the order given on Monday that salaries should be paid to all the employees and officers of the state on the occasion of Diwali. In the order issued, it has been asked to ensure salary payment on 30th October. With this, about 20 lakh employees of the state will be able to celebrate the upcoming festivals of Diwali, Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj with happiness and joy.
