2 terrorists killed, one jawan and one policeman injured in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir

An encounter is going on between terrorists and security forces in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. Two terrorists have been killed in Hadipora area here, while a soldier of Special Operations Group and a policeman have been injured.

In Hadipora, a joint team of police and forces launched a search operation to trace the terrorists. As soon as the security forces reached the hideout of the terrorists, the terrorists started firing at them.

On the morning of June 17, security forces killed terrorist Lashkar commander Umar Akbar Lone alias Zafar in Bandipora. He was a resident of Pattan. 2 to 3 terrorists are suspected to be hiding in the area. Army operation is going on to search for them.

On June 16, the sound of firing was heard in the forests of Argam. After this, the army and police launched a search operation. On Monday morning, the search operation intensified and the terrorists started firing. In the drone footage, the body of the slain terrorist Jafar was seen lying in the forest.

Let us tell you that four terrorist attacks have taken place after June 9. Since June 9, terrorist attacks have taken place at four places in Reasi, Kathua and Doda. Out of these, 9 pilgrims died. Also, a CRPF jawan was martyred. At the same time, one civilian and 7 security personnel were injured.
